Today’s Frazz comic strip touches on a subject I have found amusing recently: the evolution of photographer’s pose.
Of course, the original position of the view camera photographer behind the tripod with a cloth over his head has long been relegated to the history books.
But the common camera-against-the-face position has evolved yet again, with photographers now taking an arm’s length approach resembling a martial arts stance, as I saw with this group of tourists recently in Japan.
It’s a sight you experience everyday, but don’t see until someone points it out…
